Shipping Policy

We want your Darkolates to reach you as fresh and beautiful as the moment they were made. Here's everything you need to know about how we pack, ship, and deliver your order.
1. Where We Deliver
We currently ship across India. Delivery to certain remote or restricted PIN codes may not be available, or may take longer; our checkout will indicate if your location is serviceable.
2. Order Processing Time
Because every order is freshly prepared, we typically process and dispatch within 1–3 business days of order confirmation. Orders placed on Sundays or public holidays are processed on the next business day. During festive seasons or sale periods, processing may take slightly longer.
3. Delivery Time
Once dispatched, estimated delivery times are:
Within Bengaluru & Karnataka: 2–4 business days
Rest of India: 4–7 business days
These are estimates, not guarantees. Actual delivery depends on your location and the courier partner. You will receive an estimated delivery date for your address at checkout.
4. Shipping Charges
Free shipping on all prepaid orders above ₹999.
For orders below ₹999, a nominal shipping fee is calculated and shown at checkout based on your delivery location.
5. Order Tracking
Once your order is dispatched, we'll share a tracking link and courier details by email, SMS, or WhatsApp so you can follow your order to your doorstep.
6. Packaging & Temperature Care
Our chocolates are made with real cacao and natural ingredients, without artificial stabilisers, so they are sensitive to heat. We use protective, food-safe packaging to keep your chocolates safe in transit. However:
In hot weather, minor softening or surface whitening ("bloom") can occur. This is natural, safe to eat, and does not affect quality.
We recommend being available to receive your order promptly and storing the chocolates in a cool, dry place (ideally refrigerated in summer) upon arrival.
7. Delivery Attempts & Incorrect Addresses
Please ensure your shipping address and contact number are complete and correct. We are not responsible for delays or non-delivery due to incorrect or incomplete details.
If a delivery fails because no one is available, or the address is unreachable, the courier may re-attempt delivery or return the parcel. Re-shipping may attract additional charges.
8. Delays Beyond Our Control
While we do our best to dispatch on time, we are not liable for delays caused by circumstances outside our control — including courier delays, weather, natural events, strikes, or other force majeure situations.
9. Damaged or Missing Parcels
If your parcel arrives damaged, or if there's an issue with delivery, please contact us within 48 hours with your order number and photos. See our Refund Policy for how we resolve damaged or incorrect orders.
